Why isn't drag and drop working in PlayIt Live/Cartwall?

If you're unable to drag and drop audio files from Windows Explorer into PlayIt Live or PlayIt Cartwall, this is typically caused by a Windows security restriction when the application is running with administrator privileges.

Windows prevents drag and drop operations between applications running at different privilege levels. If PlayIt Live or PlayIt Cartwall is running as administrator whilst Windows Explorer is running at normal user level, the drag and drop functionality will be blocked.

To resolve this issue, close the application and restart it without administrator privileges. By default, PlayIt software does not run as administrator and this is the recommended configuration. If you've previously configured the application to run as administrator, right-click the application shortcut, select Properties, navigate to the Compatibility tab, and untick Run this program as an administrator.
