PlayIt Live currently supports MP3 format for internet broadcasting. When setting up your stream via Tools > Internet Broadcast, you can configure the audio quality settings including bitrate and sampling rate to match your streaming provider's requirements and balance audio quality with bandwidth usage.

Higher bitrates provide better audio quality but require more bandwidth, so you'll need to choose settings appropriate for your internet connection and listener base. Common bitrate settings range from 64kbps for basic quality speech content up to 320kbps for high-quality music broadcasting. Your streaming provider may have specific recommendations for optimal settings based on their server configuration.
