How do I set up PlayIt Live to start playing audio automatically?

To set up PlayIt Live to automatically start playing audio when you log into Windows, you need to configure three things: Windows automatic login, Windows startup, and automation mode.

Setting up Windows automatic login:

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialogue
2. Type netplwiz and press Enter
3. Uncheck the box that says Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer
4. Click Apply
5. Enter your password when prompted and click OK
6. Restart your computer to test that it logs in automatically

Setting up Windows to launch PlayIt Live automatically:

1. After installing PlayIt Live, locate the desktop shortcut
2. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialogue
3. Type shell:startup and click OK to open the Windows Startup folder
4. Copy the PlayIt Live shortcut into this Startup folder

This ensures PlayIt Live launches automatically whenever you log into Windows.

Enabling Automation Mode on startup:

1. In PlayIt Live, go to Manage > Scheduled Events
2. Click Add New
3. Name the event (e.g. "Automation on Startup")
4. For Trigger Type, select On Startup
5. Click Add Action, choose Change Playout Mode, then select Automation ON
6. Click OK to save

With all three steps complete, your computer will automatically log into Windows, launch PlayIt Live, and immediately begin playing audio in Automation Mode.
