How do I restore my settings in PlayIt Live after a reset?

PlayIt Live stores all your settings and database information in a specific data folder. If you've lost your settings after a system reset, you can restore them from a backup if you have one, or you'll need to reconfigure your settings.

If you have a backup:

Using PlayIt Live's backup feature

1. Open PlayIt Live and go to Tools > Backup and Restore
2. Click Restore From File and select your backup file
3. The backup will be marked to restore when PlayIt Live next restarts
4. Restart PlayIt Live and when prompted, type YES and click Restore

Manual restore from copied data folder If you manually backed up your PlayIt Live folder from C:\ProgramData\PlayIt Live, simply copy it back to the same location when PlayIt Live is closed.

If you don't have a backup:

You'll need to reconfigure your settings manually:

• Audio devices: Go to File > Settings and configure your sound card assignments
• Track library: Re-add your music using Manage > Tracks or set up monitored folders
• Clocks and scheduling: Recreate your programming clocks via Manage > Clocks
• User accounts: Set up users again via Manage > Users if required
