How to transfer my PlayIt Recorder license to another computer?

The simplest way to transfer your PlayIt Recorder licence to another computer is to log in with your PlayIt Software account on the new machine.

Step 1: Install PlayIt Recorder Download and install PlayIt Recorder from https://www.playitsoftware.com/Products/Recorder on your new computer.

Step 2: Log in with your account When PlayIt Recorder starts, click Log In and enter your PlayIt Software account credentials. Your licence will automatically be applied to the new machine.

If your new computer doesn't have internet access:

1. Click Activate Offline...
2. Note the Computer Name and Machine Code displayed
3. From an internet-connected device, visit https://www.playitsoftware.com/Account/Licences/Generate
4. Select PlayIt Recorder, enter the Computer Name and Machine Code, then generate a licence key
5. Copy the licence key (starts with "3*") back to your new computer

Important notes:

• Each computer requires its own licence, but you can use the same PlayIt Software account on multiple machines
• Your existing licence on the old computer remains valid until you stop using it
• No need to "deactivate" the old computer - simply log in on the new one
