This usually happens when a mono microphone is feeding only one side of a stereo input, which causes your voice to record on either the left or right channel but not both.
To fix this, you need to set your microphone input to mono in Windows so the signal is duplicated to both left and right channels. In Windows 11, right-click the Speaker icon in the system tray and select Sound settings. Under Input, select your microphone device and click on it to open its properties. Under Format, choose 1 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz to convert the input to mono.
After making this change, restart your browser or computer if needed. Your voice should now record on both channels properly.
