You cannot directly import music from YouTube into PlayIt Live. YouTube does not provide a way to download audio files, and its Terms of Service do not permit downloading or extracting content for reuse. Audio taken from YouTube would also be subject to copyright restrictions that prevent it being used for broadcast.
To use music in PlayIt Live for broadcasting, you need to obtain your tracks as actual audio files through legal channels, such as purchasing downloads from online music stores, using royalty-free music libraries, or working with a music distribution service that supplies broadcast-quality files. Once you have these files, you can add them to your library by going to Manage > Tracks and clicking the Add New button to launch the Add New Tracks Wizard.
If you are setting up a radio station, you will also need the appropriate music licensing (such as PPL and PRS in the UK) to legally broadcast copyrighted music.
PlayIt Software is based in the heart of Cambridge, England, United Kingdom.
