Why is my playout log different to my clock content?

If you've made changes to your clock content but the playout log hasn't updated, this is because the playout log is generated at the time of scheduling and doesn't automatically reflect changes made afterwards.

To update your playout log with the new clock content:

  1. Open the Edit Playout Log window (in PlayIt Live via Manage > Playout Log, or in PlayIt Manager via the Playout Log Management page)
  2. Select the date and time range that needs updating using the start and end time selectors
  3. Click the Unschedule button to remove all visible items from the selected time range
  4. Click the Schedule button to regenerate the playout log using your updated clock configuration
  5. Click OK to save the changes (in PlayIt Live) or Save (in PlayIt Manager)

Important: Only unschedule hours that do not contain voice tracking content. Unscheduling will permanently remove any voice tracks that have already been recorded for those hours, requiring presenters to re-record them after rescheduling.
