Feature Request: Low-bandwidth Remote Studio mode for single-broadcaster remotes
I would like to see a low-bandwidth mode for Remote Studio designed for single-broadcaster remote events, such as sports play-by-play from ball fields, gyms, and other locations using cellular internet.
Remote Studio works well when the internet connection is strong, but some remote broadcast sites have weak or unstable upload speeds. In those cases, the audio can become choppy even though the remote broadcaster may only need to send a simple microphone feed back to the studio.
It would be helpful if Remote Studio had a mode optimized for this kind of use case:
* Single broadcaster / single microphone contribution
* Lower bandwidth requirement than the full Remote Studio experience
* Better handling of jitter, packet loss, and brief cellular drops
This would be useful for sports stations, schools, and small broadcasters doing remote play-by-play from sites where wired internet is not available.
The current workaround is to use a separate stream into a Priority Stream, but a built-in low-bandwidth Remote Studio mode would make this much easier and more reliable.
