Native Ember+ Control Protocol Support (for D&R Auron and other Broadcast Consoles).
Please consider adding native support for the Ember+ control protocol (an open-source broadcast automation standard developed by the Lawo Group). Newer broadcast consoles, such as the D&R Auron, rely heavily on Ember+ (via TCP/IP) for advanced automation, remote control, and software integrations rather than traditional hardware GPIO or custom USB protocols. How this would work / Key Use Cases: • Fader Start / Channel Mute triggers: PlayIt Live could receive commands over Ember+ to start or stop players when a fader is raised or opened on the console. • On-Air Signaling / Talkback: Bidirectional communication to change states on the desk or trigger software events. • Hardware Independence: Implementing a generic Ember+ consumer/provider module (e.g., using open source libraries like EmberPlusSharp) would instantly make PlayIt Live compatible with a huge range of high-end mixing desks (D&R, Lawo, DHD) without needing individual plugins for each manufacturer.
