Partial clocks are reusable 'mini clocks' that contain sequences of clock items you can insert into your standard hour-long clocks. Rather than rebuilding common sequences repeatedly across multiple clocks, you create a partial clock once and insert it wherever needed. For example, if you have a standard top-of-the-hour sequence containing a time announcement, station identifier, news jingle, and news break, you can save this as a partial clock and use it across all your different hour clocks.
When you insert a Partial Clock item into a Standard clock, PlayIt Live copies all the items from that partial clock directly into your schedule. This includes any fixed time markers, which maintain their absolute time positions.
To create a partial clock, navigate to Manage > Clocks and set the clock type to "Partial" rather than "Standard". Partial clocks cannot be scheduled directly onto the clock schedule - they exist solely to be inserted into other clocks via the Partial Clock item type. This feature requires the Advanced Scheduling module.
