Please explain the feature you would like and why this would be useful to you. For example: As a radio DJ I would like to have a wall of one-touch radio buttons so I can play jingles without having to load them into the log.
Much of today's top 40 tracks have multible contributing artists, it would be nice if playout policy took this into account whilst schedulding tracks to decrease the chances the same artist being played back to back.
In electronic dance music, artists often collaborate and that makes it hard for PlayIt Live to avoid playing the same artist too often with Playout Policy active.

Why don't you have a volume mixer on Playit Software instead of having to use the Windows/Apple one. I think that will be a really cool feature. So have your audio and microphone one and you could even have it on a different window.
When we have items in the hour that won't be played because the fixed time marker has been reached, it would be good if they were grey or shaded out, so we know they won't be played.

It would be nice to have the software detect silence on the audio channel it is recording and then send an email out if silence is greater than X seconds. And then send an email again when audio returns.
